Bourget Python 230 custom fat tire chrome hardtail fast
Vehicle Description
Available for bid is this immaculate one owner Bourget Python 230 hard tail bike. It has a 40 degree rake and a 4" stretch in the backbone. This bike has been meticulously maintained and is ready to ride. It has a bourget title but has been almost entirely re-done and customized to the my specs. This includes the frame which during build up now has double wall tube in rear fender struts eliminating the stress crack possiblity on hard tail bikes. It has a totally built up Merch performance 104cu in engine with S S carb, built by Solenberg Performance of Shelbyville Ind. who is a record holder engine builder specializing in harley engines for drag purposes. My instructions were to build a powerful but dependable motor. You won't be dissappointed. This thing pulls like a tractor and will blow by the 113cu in SS motors spec'd standard on Bourget. I had all the polished aluminum parts chromed including the BDL open belt primary for improved appearance and much easier cleaning. The jack shaft sprocket, which accomodates the wide tire without offsetting the engine, and provides perfect balance at speeds, has been re-engineered and improved. In the winter of 06 the bike was stripped to the frame for new paint. The engine cylinder fins were the old color, and since they had to be taken apart anyway we freshened up the top end. The pipes, seat, sprockets, brake pads, front rubber, and battery are all new. The bike has less than 1,000 miles since re-do. It has jaybrake brakes and a dyna ignition. There is a matching passenger seat with gel pad for her comfort. This not my primary bike and wife says one has to go so my loss is your gain. I have listed this bike twice before under a different ebay account with each time the winning bidder not honoring the contract without even seeing the bike. One guy dissappeared when I wouldn't take a personal check, the other never even contacted me after the bidding was over. Please have all of your financing and permission slips signed before bidding on this bike. I will only accept reputable forms of payment. I will require an immediate deposit within 24 hours of end of bidding to hold. I will be leaving for Daytona on Tues October 13th, so if you want the bike for Biketoberfest please be ready to come and enjoy. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Good luck with your bidding.
