Aermacchi Harley Davidson AMF Sprint 1974 SX350
Vehicle Description
1974 Aermacchi HD Sprint, SX350, garage find. 1979 original miles. Still has stock Pirelli tires, with very little dry rot. When I found it, it was missing the carb and air cleaner, as well as the points and points plate and cover. It appears the previous owner may have had some sort of run problem and tried to fix it himself.
The bike now sports many replacment NOS items, to include a new carb, new handlebars (the old ones were rusty), rear brake cable, tank decals, points plate/points cover and many other items.
New paint job, black, as in the original color. This bike now runs great, starts very easy by kick start (the electric start does not work). The starter does work on a bench test, but does not work on the bike. I beleive it may be he starter relay
