1990 FXRP POLICE HARLEY DAVIDSON CHOPPER OR RESTORE NR

THIS BIKE HAS A CLEAN TITLE IN HAND, NOT A REBUILD OR SALVAGE. Up for auction is a rare FXRP Police bike from Hartford CT Police Department. I just purchased a few of these bikes from Hartford. I am the second owner of this bike, here is the history. They were bought new by Hartford PD, used until the late 90's then put in storage. In 2004 they were used in a training class for a least one year. Put back in storage until they were auctioned off this summer. I have charged the battery, put fresh gas in the tank, changed the carb, adjusted the clutch and topped of the fluids. This is a running bike, I have taken it out and rode it around the block. The Engine is the Big Twin Evo, does not smoke or knock. The transmission is five speed and shifts the way it should. The tires have good rubber, brakes front and back work fine. That's the good news it a running project or restoration bike.
Please Note: this bike has lots of dents and scratches, the floor boards are scraped from the turns of the Motor Officers. This bike has been dropped alot, but most of the crash bars were wrapped to protect them.
Great bike to rebuild as a Chopper. Take off the extra items like the front faring and bags.
Please Note: this bike will need the attention of someone who knows bikes. Assume that all fluids need to be changed, all adjustments will need to be checked, gaskets, and repairs will be needed. I'm not trying to scare anyone away, just want you to know what you are bidding on.
