1990 FXRS FXR Rolling Chassis
The FXR was one of the best handling Harleys ever produced - just ask anybody who's owned one! Here's your chance to build one the way you want it!
You see, I really don't want to sell this - but I just can't justify spending the money to finish this one when I have 3 others...
This is an original Harley Davidson chassis with a clean title. All parts are from the original 1990 FXRS - except where noted. So here it is:
- Stock, uncut/undamaged/unmolested frame and swingarm - freshly powder coated in gloss (vivid) black
- Original Narrowglide Front End - Polished
- Original 10 Spoke Wheels (Non-painted surfaces polished)
- Original Gas Tank and Front Fender (both need stripped/paint), and yes, the gas gauge works great!
- Rear fender is from another FXR - I don't know what year (82?) and has small chip at right rear, and needs paint also
- Progressive Shocks (1 inch lower than stock)
- New Rear Tire (Metzler ME880)
- New Drag Bars (Khromewerks, standard rise)
- New Arlen Ness Billet Mirrors (upswept)
- GMA Rear Master Cylinder
- Forward Controls (steel o-ring type - custom chrome?)
- Corbin Seat (serviceable, but needs recovered/replaced)
- Stock calipers, kickstand, small parts..
- Needs Swingarm Bushings (Original bushings holding it together now)
- Comes with everything in pictures except Battery and Turn Signals
The bike needs a good cleaning, it has lots of garage dust on it. It has been garaged for the 3 years I've had it and there is no rust anywhere. You won't be disappointed!
