1972 Superglide with 80 inch motor Vehicle Description Mileage is not original. It is right for when I built this bike piece by piece. I own a bike shop and have been building bikes for over thirty-five years. So I built this bike for my 'ol Lady from the ground up. She rode it for the miles listed. Then I bought a Tour Glide to sell. She decided she would rather have the Tour Glide, so I traded her the Tour Glide for the Superglide. Now the Superglide is for sale. Invested well over ten grand in this bike, not counting labor. It has New Delkron cases with Harley eighty inch flywheels, new rods. bearings, pistons, cylinders, valves, guides and seals, valve springs, rocker arms, Andrews 'A' cam, Crane Hi-4 ignition, along with new tappet rollers. The carb is SS Super 'E'. The following is new chrome; rocker boxes, cam cover, oil tank, all hand controls, brake master cylinders, rear brake caliper and mount, swingarm (with new bearings and seals), battery covers, and tool box. The inner and outer primary covers are also chrome. Bike has electric and kick start. Starter stuff is all new and also charging system. Oil lines are all steel braided as well as fuel lines, throttle cable, and front and rear brake lines. Front end is a 1978 which I rebuilt with shorter fork tubes and has new dual brake calipers. Tires are new with new wheel bearings and seals. New Progressive Suspension rear shocks are one inch shorter than stock. New speedometer and tachometer when I built bike. I wired bike complete with new wiring harness and circiut breakers. Clutches are new with primary chain and rear o-ring chain also new. Transmission rebuilt with new bearings, shift forks and seals. Sheet metal and paint are also new.Since I have the bike for sale locally I must reserve the right to end aution early.
