Exceptional 1990 FLHS Electra Glide / High Performance
Vehicle Description
You are bidding on an exceptionally well maintained and cared for, 3-owner, 1990 Electra Glide. The first owner was the long-distance rider responsible for most of the 83,000 miles on this motorcycle. The second owner, an Arizona resident, had the motorcycle for four years, during which time it developed oil leaks around the heads. His buddy, a motorcycle mechanic, convinced him to replace the engine and upgrade the drivetrain including the following: ...A BRAND NEW 1350cc Screaming Eagle Stage III Engine bored .oo5 over... 10.2:1 Pop-up Pistons... Oversized Cam and Performance Lifters... Reworked Heads... Screaming Eagle Ignition... Screaming Eagle Carb Kit... Open Box Breather Kit and Injectors... New Transmission... New Performance Clutch... New Drive Belt... Vance and Hines Longshot Pipes... My friend Terry bought the bike nearly two years ago and has put 6,000 miles on it, adding a new battery and a new windshield in that time. It needs nothing! All recent maintenance and service work has been done at the Harley shop in West Fargo, North Dakota and the bike has spent it's winters in their climate controlled storage. This winter's storage fees are paid in full and the bike can remain there until spring if you wish to fly in and drive it home. (By the way, the mechanics at the dealership have repeatedly commented on what great shape this bike is in!) Tires are about 50%. You will not find fault with this classic touring bike! There are no oil leaks, no mechanical issues, no shortcomings of any kind. The only reason it's for sale is Terry got carried away on eBay last weekend and ended up with a much newer version of the same motorcycle! (He knows how to buy on eBay, but doesn't know how to sell, which explains why I'm doing this listing for him.) For some unknown reason, the heading above says, "SOFTAIL". This is NOT a Softail...it is an Electra-Glide (FLHS). Thank you to those of you who e-mailed me through eBay to make me aware of the error!
