Harley Davidson Heritage Springer / FLSTS / Trade ?
Vehicle Description
Harley Davidson Heritage Springer / Springer / FLSTS
Vehicle Description
1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer (FLSTS)
Bike is in great shape and ready to ride, needs nothing. I have owned this bike for the past 3 years. Bike runs and rides great with no known problems.
Mechanical
Engine runs perfect and the transmission shifts smooth. Engine is currently set up with an SS carb (w/ Thunder Jet) and a Screaming Eagle ignition. Pictures show bike with fishtail drag pipes. Currently the bike has a set of Bub Dresser Dog megaphone style mufflers on it but the fishtails are included in the auction. Tires are in good shape. Front is bearly wore, rear is about half gone. Brakes and chrome rotors were new about 900 miles ago. The wheels on the bike are from a '03 Fatboy. They were new take offs and have about 900 miles on them as well. The wheels have the new style sealed bearings. The starter clutch was also replaced recently. Battery is about 2 years old. The bike is excellent mechanical condition.
Cosmetics
This bike has lots of extra chrome pieces. Most of these were on the bike when I got it, and do not know which ones are factory or add on. Look at the pictures and see what is there. Bike is set up with a set of hard bags from a 1970 FLH with custom mounts. They are painted white, but being old bags, you can see some of the fiberglass texture in the finish. Just gives them a nostalgic look. Paint was done year before last. Looks good. Front fender has been molded smooth (no fender light, no rivits to be seen). Has a Mustang Touring seat that has only been on there a year or so.
Overall the bike is great shape with no known problems. Looks fantastic, just a little different than most of your Springers. Anybody is welcome to come take a look before the auction ends. I can send more pictures if needed and will answer any questions. Bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I have set the reserve at what I consider a reasonable price. I need a $200 non-refundable deposit within 48hrs of auction end. I want cash or a certified bank check at the time of pick up. I will not ship this. Bike will be ready to ride when you pick it up. When you come to pick it up, check it over and if it is not as described, walk away, no hard feelings but the $200 deposit is to cover my time and fees.
Will consider partial trade to something interesting. Old car, truck, etc... Let me know what you got.
Good luck
