1972 Honda CB175
Vehicle Description
1972 Honda CB175, I've rebuilt the top end with a rebore, new pistons, rings, gaskets, timing chain, valve seats, mild port work, carb rebuild kits, and new points and condenser. It also has a new chain, and new throttle, brake, and clutch cables. The original tank was in rough shape, so I got one that is in very good condition, but I don't have the side emblems. It has a spot on the seat that has seperated at the seam, which you can see in the pictures, and it has a small dent in the front fender, and one on the fork cover. Tires are in rough shape. There is some minor rust on the chrome, and the exhaust pipes are hollow inside. It has a very nice sound, but it's also pretty loud. I was going for a vintage racer look, so I've removed the air boxes and installed the filters you see, and I've removed the signal and tail lights, battery box, and electric starter. All of those parts are included in the sale, as well as a new secondary coil, some gaskets, new exhaust valves, and another cylinder head. I think the only parts missing to make it complete are the tank emblems and a new battery if you wanted to put the electric start back in. It's a great running bike for either a vintage racer or someone looking for a restoation project. If you just want a classis to ride around on throw on a set of tires and go! Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements, if possible please come and see it before bidding
