1988 1000F Huricane
Vehicle Description
Up for bid is a 1988 Honda CBR1000F Huricane. I strongly reccomend this bike for a parts bike only, as it has been sitting, under bike cover and tarp for over a year, having been started only a couple of times in that time. I know there are some Huricane 1000 owners who have to be just jonesin' for parts, as I once was . I dropped the bike, once, in 2004. Although Ive ridden since then, I ran into an alternator problem that I never got around to fixing. Since the bike has been sitting, the front tire has gone flat due a failing valve stem, and has cracks. The bike also needs a clutch line. I brought both another clutch line and alternator, and those are included in the auction with the bike. There is a tiny oil leak only noticed after months of sitting
The title is clear, and I am the legal owner of record. The bike was purchased from my nephew, who was given the bike in 2003 by his step father after he originally purchased it around 1990. I am just looking to get rid of the bike to make room on my property, and move on to another another bike when I get the chance. So, I will accept highest bid, whatever that may be, with no reserve. The winning bidder must willing and able to pick-up the bike.
