1978 Honda Twinstar Vehicle Description This is a 1978 CM185 Twinstar with a 200cc engine replacing the original 185cc one. The original engine needed more work to get running than I wanted to do, so I just replaced it with one from a newer model that I found on ebay. I still have the original engine and might sell it separately, but it is not included in this auction. When I bought this bike a few years ago, it had only 3,000 miles on it. From what I understand the original owner had gotten it brand new and, after a season or two of riding put it away in storage until I bought it. It still has its inspection sticker from 1978 on it! Everything is original on it except: the speedometer, ignition switch, engine exhaust. I believe even the tires are the ones it left the dealer with and they even look relatively new. The exhaust-pipes are new. The original speedometer and the right-side mirror and mirror-bracket were damaged when a tree-branch fell on it. It starts up on the first kick every time and runs great! If you would want to use the electric start you would need a new battery. It is a 6v system. It has no title! I am selling it because it seemed like getting a title would be more of a hassle than it was worth to me. I still drive it pretty often as I live in the middle of nowhere so there's not much chance of getting in trouble. It's a very lightweight, nimble and fun bike. I'm sad to be selling it but I need the money. Payment due in full one week after end of auction. Bike must be picked-up! I will not deliver!Feel free to ask any questions you may have
