1982 Kawasaki GPZ 750
Vehicle Description
This is a 1982 GPZ 750. These bikes were styled after the Z1's that factory riders dominated competion with. This bike is based off a KZ 750 but they were designed as a sportier bike. This bike has been a great bike and I got looks and complements on it wherever I went. It doesn't look as good now and I haven't ridden it in 3 years, so it's time for it to go. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. I believe the front is a 110/90/19 Duro and the rear is a 120/90/18 I believe. It has newer accell coils with accell plug wires. The stock airbox had been removed in favor of 4 KN pod filters. The brake lines are all braided stainless. The seat has a newer seat cover. The rear shocks are Marzocchi aftermarket shocks which I believe are no longer in production. The chain and sprockets were all replaced about the same time as the tires, the chain is a o-ring type and the chain was downsized from the massive stock chain to a 520 I think. The exhaust is an unknown headpipe mated to a DD Canister mounted below the frame. Now for the bad stuff. It's missing the side covers, I have side covers to go with it, but they need painted. The fairing is missing because the bike was dropped. The turn signals are also gone for whatever reason. There's a dent in the tank and also a dent in the front fender. The battery is dead and I do not know if it will run now or not. This was a good bike, but it's 26 years old and it definately needs some TLC. I had planned on fixing this back up, but I have way too many projects already. The bike is sold as is. If you have any questions or need any different pictures let me know. Good luck bidding!
