’72 Norton Commando 850 John Player Special
Vehicle Description
A unique, gorgeous bike that draws crowds everywhere! Does well at shows and is a joy to ride. The bike is designed after the John Player Nortons that enjoyed great racing success in the ‘70’s. Frame up and engine was completely rebuilt by British American Bikes of Atlanta GA. in 2003 including, the top end being bored and 850cc pistons installed. All external oil and brake lines are braided stainless with a urethane jacket. It has an oil pressure gauge; hand made light weight 5gal + Norvil aluminum tank, aluminum rear sets, and seat/tail. The exhaust is Dunstall in a “Gatling Gun” configuration. It has a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition, hence no points or condenser problems.
Lots of documentation (manuals, books, articles, owner notes) included along with a FF Norton logo helmet. Selling due to a bad back that makes kick starting a "pain"...
