1973 Norton Commando 750 This Commando has been modified from stock, obviously. It is my understanding that it was built by someone in Denver (or mabe Texas) about 4 or 5 years ago. The engine number is 221567. I have a clear title in hand. As far as the motor goes, it runs very well and almost always starts on the 3rd or 4th kick once you know what she likes. The engine may have higher compression pistons, it requires a little more effort to kick start than my last Commando. It pulls and runs very well. What I do know is: - It has an Aluminum Dunstall style tank with flip-up cap. And a Dunstall style Solo Seat. - It has a Boyer Electronic Ignition System. - Has rear sets. - Has a Hyde Fork Brace. - Tommaselli Clip-Ons. - Most of the hardware is either Stainless or Chrome. - The frame appears to have had a high quality powder coat, one of the better that I've seen. - The Tires are like new and are mounted on Akront Wheels with Stainless Steel Spokes. - The Oil Filter has been relocated to above the transmission. It does have a minor oil leak coming from somewhere around the oil tank but I will try to get that taken care of this week. The bike is in very nice overall condition. What paint there is, is a matt finish. I have more photos available, and if you would like any specific shots please let me know. Please email me with any questions prior to bidding.
