1970 Norton Commando 750 motorcycle
Vehicle Description
1970 Norton Commando 750, vintage original bike, needs some cosmetic cleaning and polishing, and fenders re-chromed. Runs great and barely leaks (like two drops every 6 months). Very original patina, original seat, etc. Has original fiberglass tank and original side covers, needs paint but presentable to ride . Tank has some surface scratches. Slight nickel-sized dent in rear fender. Have original NOS air cleaner in box. No sidestand, center stand has modified “lever” made smaller (new stand about $80). Speedometer is slightly later type and shows 26K miles, but I was told it has much less mileage...it was just a quick fix years ago when it was replaced. The other gauge is original, as is headlight, levers, etc. The pipes are original, exhaust obviously not, but looks and sounds great so did not put full baffled exhaust on. This has been a California bike for most of it’s life, no rust to speak of..originally purchased in San Diego..still has the large original license plate frame on it. I am third owner......first owner for many years, sold to a friend of his who moved to New York State (bike has NY tags and paperwork).
