Very nice, clean, awesome looking 1974 Rickman Zundapp 125 MX.. This is probably 99.9% factory original.. It has sat for years without being run.. You would have a hard time finding a Rickman this nice that is original and in unrestored condition..
Engine turns over with excellent compression, gears shift easily, clutch feels good.. Only problem, there is no spark.. Cylinder fins are in great shape, engine cases are factory original paint with no breaks or cracks.. Gear shifter has the original rubber cushion on it..
Factory original Betor forks are in great shape, still have the factory original Betor rubber fork slider wipers.. Nuts bolts etc all look good throughout the bike, although it is missing some of the side plate bolts.. Rear shocks excellent..
Factory original handlebars, grips and controls, needs grips replaced, control levers look bent but may come from factory twisted outward.. Kill switch is missing button..
Factory original chrome wheels and spokes look good.. Original Dunlap Sport tires are in great shape, lots of tread left.. Rear 4:00x18, front 2:75x21..
Seat does have a couple tears in the right side..
Tank is in very nice shape.. Gas cap does have slight pitting.. What I can see of the inside of tank it looks good.. Fibreglass body parts are in very nice shape, color looks bright, not faded.. Front fender has minor scraping and chip on very front..
Exhaust Pipe (expansion chamber) in very good shape, a couple very minor dings around the end opening is all.. It is missing the silencer/spark arrestor..
Nickel plating on frame looks very good, not mint, but very shiny.. There are no repairs or bends on frame, solid and straight... All chrome on this bike looks very nice..
The pictures speak for the bike, please take a good look, blow them up, they are high quality shots.. If you are looking for originality, it does not get much better then this.. I believe you will like what you see..
