1980 Suzuki DR 400 Motorcycle (Ready for Restoration)
I'm sure not an expert on old Suzuki dirt bikes or any old dirt bike for that matter, but this one was practically given to me. I don't know alot about it but this is what I do know. It is a Suzuki DR 400. I'm not positive but I believe it is a 1980 model? This bike has not ran for about a year. The previous owner stopped ridding it because he bought a smaller bike. He mentioned to me that the carburetor needs to be cleaned out in order to run well again.Although I am not very mechanical, I sprayed a little starting fluid in the air box and the bike started right up and ran for a few seconds. I guess you could say this old Suzuki is an oldie but goodie. I'm sure that it could be an excellent candidate for a restoration project. Since I am not very mechanical, I have taken several pictures of this bike so that you can see for yourself its overall condition. This motorcycle is nearly 30 years old and obviously not in perfect condition, however, I do believe that for the right mechanically inclined person, it could make someone a very inexpensive project motorcycle. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have and I will try my best to answer them. I do not want to misrepresent this bike in any way, so ask your questions before you bid.....not after.I am selling this motorcycle as is and where is. My opening bid is $250.00 with no reserve. Terms of Sale:
The winning bidder is to pay a non-refundable $250.00 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close.Once the deposit has been paid, the winning bidder then has an addtional 5 days to pay the remainning balance in full. The balance can also be paid through PayPal or can be paid in cash when the motorcycle is picked up.
Terms of Pick Up:
