Check out this professionally built 250cc Triumph, BSA Bitsa. 1968 BSA B25 frame with a '71 T25 Triumph motor. Later model switches. Twin leading shoe front brake. Wired with a Typanium regulator and no battery. Everything works. 5" Lucas headlight and lens. This bike has a new seat (over$200.00 dealer cost), new peanut tank, and petcocks and many other new parts that were put on when it was put together a few years ago and never put to use. The bike was a project put together from bits donated by club members and given to my son to put together and sat for 5 years until I finished it off and fired it up a couple of years ago. It had fresh paint, new wiring, new points, condensers, air cleaner, Tymp unit and many other parts. Primary side is together but I took some photo's of the clutch when I pulled it apart last year just to check it. Look at the tabs on the clutch basket and plates. Clutch plates and basket are like new. It has never been on the road or abused since the build. Front tire is a K-81 copy, rear is a Made in Great Britain K-70 good for a child's swing (aka minimal tread). Rims are not show quality and have some pitting. A-65 rear grab rail. Starts first kick and has plenty of spunk! Paperwork consists of the original Manufacturers Statement of Origin To A Motor Vehicle issued in Greenfield Mass to the original dealer. The numbers match the motor. It is signed by the dealer and not filled in for the buyer. Some states will title from this document, others not. Also has an application for title from Fla. Consider it not titled. It can be titled through ITS for under $100.00. This is a great running very cool Bitsa that is ready to go and un-molested. The bike is located 6 miles off US Highway 84 just outside of Port Jervis N.Y. in Montague N.J. Great beginer bike for a future Brit Bike sucker like the rest of us. Need to sell to finance my daughters '59 Tiger Cub resto. Pics to follow. Check for any info about any British motorcycle at BritBike.com. The best site on the web!
