Triumph Superthree Daytona Vehicle Description 1996 Triumph Superthee Daytona. One of 125 built that year. The bikes were only available in 95 and 96. These bike have all the tricks that the factory knew of in those days. Fenders and chainguard are carbon fiber. The brakes are billet pieces (six piston fronts) that were built for Triumph by Alcon. Alcon builds brakes for F1. The engines were hand assembled by Cosworth. This may be the nicest one left. It has 3495 original miles and I am the original owner. To my knowledge this bike does not have a single scratch or nick on it. It is as close to showroom new as a 13 year old bike can be. It lived in a heated garage in Michigan its entire life until I retired to Florida. So its still in a heated garage. Which is why I am selling it. Without a basement anymore I just don't have the room to keep things I don't use. The license plate on it now is a 1995. The bike is stock except for three changes. I replaced the fake carbon fiber mufflers with real carbon fiber mufflers (Micron). I installed a jet kit (Dyno Jet) to go with the mufflers and put in a 3 degree ignition advance plate. I can assure you the bike loved all three changes. These changes combined with the Cosworth engine make it significantly faster than my 95 Speedtriple. I still have the original mufflers, jets and ignition plate. For a bike like this, pickup at this location would be nice. If someone wanted to ship it I would be happy to take it to a local shipper for you. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping arrangements from that point. A $500.00 deposit will be required within 3 days of sate to hold the bike. Payment by bank check only.
