Hello you are bidding on a Triumph TR5MX vintage motocross bike. Believe this is a 1973, but not positive on the year. Overall bike is in good condition. Bike is very clean; very little to no pitting. This is not a complete bike; believe the only things missing are the air box and rear fender. What you see is what you get. There are no dents in the gas tank / fuel cell. The wheels and hubs are very nice. Engine is seized up, but there are no broken fins or damaged cases. Everything moves freely. VIN: TR5MXGH75479. Engine number: 75479. The frame and engine are matching numbers. Sold with bill of sale. Great restoration project!

BY BIDDING ON AND WINNING ANY OF OUR AUCTIONS AND/OR BUY IT NOW LISTINGS YOU ARE LEGALLY BOUND BY CONTRACT TO FOLLOW AND ABIDE BY OUR TERMS CONDIIONS CLEARLY STATED IN ALL OF OUR AUCTIONS AND/OR BUY IT NOW LISTINGS.
Terms of Payment:
Payment methods accepted are as follows: money order, certified check, PayPal, or cash.
If a money order or certified check is your chosen method of payment, the money order or certified check must be mailed, received, deposited and cleared before item(s) will be shipped out or item(s) can be picked up. Please send a copy of the eBay and/or PayPal invoice/receipt with all money orders and certified checks.
DO NOT make certified checks or money orders payable to American Motor Works, if they are made out to American Motor Works they will be returned to the sender. Please make all money orders and certified checks PAYABLE to: MARY KILBY and mail to the following address.

PayPal is accepted for all purchases except purchases that are picked up from our shop. Any purchase that is $250 or more and is paid for through PayPal will be shipped with signature required for delivery.
Local pickups can be paid for with cash at the time of pickup. To pay for item(s) that are going to be picked up using a money order or certified check, the money order or certified check is required to be sent in advance. The money order or certified check will have to be received, deposited, and cleared in our bank account before the item(s) can be picked up. PayPal will not be accepted for item(s) that are going to be picked up from our shop. We have this rule, because of PayPal seller protection rules.
Shipping Address:
Buyers in the Continental United States must have a street address listed for their eBay/PayPal shipping address. FedEx will not ship to a PO Box. If you only have a PO Box listed for your eBay/PayPal shipping address please update it to include your street address before winning any of our auctions and/or buy it now listings. PO Box addresses are acceptable if the purchase is being sent internationally. Please read section “International Shipping Information” for more details.
Freight Shipping Information:
This is only for item(s) that are too large to ship through other carriers (ex: some engines and motorcycles). There will be a note in the auction and/or buy it now listing description if the item(s) will have to be shipped through a freight carrier and the guidelines below apply to that item or items.
All freight shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer is to arrange freight shipping. We will drop off item(s) and item(s) only. No skidding or crating. Once payment is paid in full we will make arrangements for the drop off at the freight company of your choice.
A local company we prefer and regularly do business with is Craters Freighters. Their phone number is 1-800-736-3335 and their website is http://www.cratersandfreighters.com/cf/home.do. Craters Freighters will skid, ship and fully insure item(s). Our zip code is 17112.
Continental United States Shipping Information:
We will combine shipping for multiple items and will do that automatically when we combine purchases. Shipping is one flat rate in the Continental United States through FedEx. All packages will be fully insured and the cost of insurance will be included with the cost of shipping. Please wait to pay for multiple items until a combine shipping invoice is sent. If the buyer pays for multiple items before a combine shipping invoice is sent they will not be refunded for the overpayment of the shipping costs. Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico purchases/shipments will be treated as international purchases/shipments (see International Shipping Information section). We will provide tracking numbers for packages upon request.
International Shipping Information:
We will combine shipping for multiple items and will do that automatically when we combine purchases. All international bidders are welcome, but here are our conditions to sending items to international countries. Since shipping costs depends on where the item(s) is going, how much it weighs, how much insurance will be needed, and weather a certificate of mailing or return receipt is needed; we will not give any quotes. After the auction and/or buy it now listing has ended an invoice will be sent with shipping costs. Do not pay for item(s) before an invoice is sent with the correct shipping costs. All packages will be fully insured and the cost of insurance will be included with the cost of shipping. Please wait to pay for multiple items until a combine shipping invoice is sent. If the buyer pays for multiple items before a combine shipping invoice is sent they will not be refunded for the overpayment of the shipping costs. We will not ship through anyone other than USPS for international winners. We will provide the number from the customs form (tracking number) upon buyer’s request.
Shipping Insurance:
All packages will be fully insured and the cost of insurance will be included with the cost of shipping (example: If the item has a flat rate shipping of $15.95 that will include insurance on the package. We will not add more to the cost of shipping to cover insurance no matter how much insurance is needed).
Handling Time:
All item(s) will be shipped out in the order they were paid for (first come/pay, first service/ship). We ship all item(s) out as quickly as possible. We try to ship item(s) out within a few days. We ship at least once a week and up to five times a week; depending on how many items that need to be shipped out that week; so handling times will vary depending on when the item was paid for and how many items need to go out that week.
Tracking Information:
We will provide tracking numbers for packages upon the buyer’s request only. Buyers will not receive shipping updates unless they email and ask for the status of their order and/or the tracking number for their package(s).
Local Pickup of Item(s):
We only allow item(s) to be picked up if an appointment is made.

Please read the section called “Business Hours” for details on our typical working hours. We will work with buyers that want to pick their item(s) up if they cannot come during our usual working hours. As long as the buyer makes an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate them. We will not make early morning appointments. We will make appointments for late in the evening even if we are not planning on being here late that night. Some Saturday and Sunday appointments can be arranged providing we will be in the area.
Return Policy:
Item(s) will only be accepted for return if the reason for the return is due to an error on our end. We will not accept any item(s) for return if the buyer bought it by mistake; bought the wrong year; bought the wrong color; etc.
Returns are accepted within 3 days after the item(s) has been delivered. The item(s) does not have to be back in our possession within 3 days, but contact must be made within 3 days. Item(s) must be returned to us within 14 days.
Refunds will not be issued until the item(s) is in our possession. The refund will be the total amount paid for the item(s) and the original cost of shipping. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded (see Shipping Handling Charges for Returns).
To help a refund to be swiftly processed please include a copy of the eBay and/or PayPal receipt/invoice and write “RETURN” in big letters on the box. All returns should be sent to the following address:

Engines:
All engines are sold “as is” and will not be accepted as a return for any reason. Once you bid, win, and pay for the engine it is yours and cannot be returned for any reason. Please read the description and ask questions about the engine you are bidding on. Once you bid, you are agreeing to these Terms Conditions.
Shipping Handling Charges for Returns:
Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and can be through the shipper of your choice. Insurance on the item(s) is recommended when shipping item(s) back for a refund. If the item(s) is lost or broken during shipment the buyer will be held responsible.
Condition of Item(s) Being Returned:
Item(s) must be in the condition it was in when shipped out and have all original materials included with it. If any mechanical (Mechanical: tinkering; alterations; adjustments; modifications; or tuning) work was done to bikes, engine components, or any other part the item(s) cannot be returned. No Exceptions.
Business Hours:
We are not open to the public and do not have set hours of operation; however; we are normally at the shop Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. A few days a week we are here until 8:30 pm, but that changes week to week. We usually do not work on Saturdays or Sundays; unless we feel it is necessary to do so (everyone needs some time off). We will accommodate buyers that want to pickup item(s); please read the section “Local Pickup of Item(s)” for more details.
Emails Communication:
Please contact us through eBay messages/email only. We will provide a phone number we can be reached at only if necessary. Emails are the best way to contact us and will be answered in the order we received them in. Emails will be responded to as quickly as possible. We try to answer all emails within 24-72 hours. Saturday and Sunday are not counted in the 24-72 hours, because we are only here by appointment.
Note to Buyers:
We are a small business and if someone calls off for a day or gets sick for a length of time our shop production slows down. We do our best to keep things up and running as they normally do, however, there are times when employees are out for some time that can cause delays in responding to emails and shipping and handling time. Since there are only a few of us here and we are all family some things affect all of us. Bottom line is that we try to keep up with everything, but life takes place and sometimes there is nothing we can do about it, but try to work around it. Anyone with family and friends should know all about this and understand. We hope that if this ever happens; which we really hope it doesn’t; our buyers will be understanding and kindhearted; since life happens and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
Buyer Satisfaction:
American Motor Works/daveyjonesmc wants all of our buyers to be completely satisfied. We will do our best to work with any buyer that is not completely satisfied, but can only do so if we are aware of the problem. If for any reason one of our buyers is unsatisfied all we ask is that they email us through the eBay item they are unsatisfied with and explain what the problem is. We will email the buyer back and do our best to work the situation out with them.
Feedback:
We leave positive feedback for all our buyers once their payment has been received and cleared.
Please contact us to resolve any issues and/or problems there may be before leaving negative or neutral feedback. We are standing by to work with all buyers to resolve any issues and/or problems.
The feedback forum is not the place to let us know about a problem with an item. If a buyer leaves us poor feedback without letting us know about the problem and giving us a chance to fix it, they will be blocked from buying from us again in the future, and we will not work with the buyer to resolve the problem.
Our goal is for all our transactions to be positive. Please help us achieve our goal by contacting us before you leave neutral or negative feedback.
