BMW R71 Ural M72 Dnepr K750 Motorcycle with Sidecar Vehicle Description Hello- Your looking at my Dnepr K750 and sidecar with extra parts. Flathead, Sidevalve 750CC's with shaft drive. Manual Advance, Shaft Drive, Higher (faster) ratio rear bevel drive. 6 Volt. I brought this back from me from England. I did alot of work while i was living in the UK for the last 2 years, but i'm now in Kansas and i need room BAD, so this has to go. Consider this a project- still needs brake work and carb tuning to really be a runner. Shouldn't be too much to do. The year: I have the Communist Pass-book style title book, but am not sure of the year. It's pretty old....The Pass book is in russian. Looks like a 1961. Title: With the CCCP Communist title and my bill of sale you'll get some weird looks, but you can title this. Please refer to your states rules for antiques with replacement titles. Milage: unknown, so i listed it as 9999 Engine: Fully Functional: Engine is a DNEPR K750: 750CC side valve, flathead with all the parts. Engine runs well, carbs and all parts work. I put all new bearings in the engine, cleaned out the oil slingers and the case and re-assembled with all new gaskets, etc. Engine looked pretty good- Cylinders fit the bores pretty well, and there was no signs of damage or too much wear. Alluminum head gaskets. Fresh bolts/nuts when needed. Oil pump worked really well. Oil pump screen was good (cleaned and re-used) Engine has no strange noises when running- sounds like it should for it's era. Engine Modifications: - I modifed the original russian Manual advance distributor to use VW beetle points and Condenser. Now has a Mighty spark at idle and parts are easy to get. - Coil is a VW beetle 6V coil- works 1000x better that the russian - Plugs have 100 miles on them, and work quite well. - Deep Oil Pan installed- (does help keep the engine cool and running well) Transmission/Gearbox: Fully Functional - Right side Hand shifter- Super Cool- gets lots of comments - 4 speed ( 1 down, neutral, 3 up) no reverse. - New cush drive disk - Clutch plate has lots of wear left, but replaced the screws reguardless. Better safe than sorry - Clutch release bearing is new to ensure long life - Selector lever has some slop. If you want to tighten this up you have to re-bush the hole. Not tough if you've done it before. - Shifts clunky- Normal for this transmission- no weird sounds, and hits every gear Drive shaft: New U-Joints, nothing else needed Final Drive: 9/35 (faster) than the old stock 8/37- not sure what the fastest speed is since i've only run it in the first two gears. - New bearings - New Gasket Tires - I have cheap-O tires on some rims, but the rims have rust, so i'm selling this with some good rims and some original russian (ukrainen?) rubber. Incredibly hard stuff. Should wear for years to come. Just don't try to take these on a track day. I'll keeping the tires you see on it in the pictures. Brakes: Front and Back need adjusted. Everything is there and looks good. I cleaned it all up and put new wheel bearings in, but you need to adjust everything. Front Fork: - Fully disassembled, Cleaned, several new seals put in, re-assembled and new oil put in. Enjoy! They are ready to run. Frame: - Frame was completely disassembled, wire wheeled all the rust off, and coated it with the British Version of Rust-o-leum, Ugg! Thick! Paint has lots of orange peel and lots of waves, but is better than the original ruskie stuff, and is now rust-protected. Should last a long time. - New pivot rubber installed on swing arm - New Head Bearings installed Rear Shocks: - Completely rebuilt: so simple i'll just leave it at that. Fun to play with since it's such a robust set up. Wish the Harley was set up this way. Tank: - Completely de-rusted with the rock-BB-Bolts and petroleum jelly and nitric acid method. ( Stinky!!! and messy) - Rinsed, cleaned with solvent till clean -Coated with British Tank sealant (good stuff, Brit bikes do well with this stuff, no reason why it won't work on this steel) - probably the same stuff as the white US stuff. Muffler: Got some fishtails for it- Great Woosht-Woosht-Woosht sound. Love it! Electrics: Your starting all over here. I did some wiring to get it running in England where i re-built it, but it needs a better job. Count on re-wiring it. It's 6Volt, no big deal, just rememeber that when your buying bulbs, etc. You need to get all new bulbs, the ones i have i don't trust. Generator: Fully Functional. These are so simple. This one is fine, but i rebuilt one for another motorcycle, was pretty easy. Brushes are same as a VW beetle. Bearings are readily available. Sidecar: Needs work: You get a complete sidecar with body and frame. Disassembled for ease of transport, but it's all there. the rust in the bottom of the sidecar body penetrates the body in multiple spots. I don't have time to wire weld this for you, but should be a pretty easy job based on where the rust it. Several flat panels. Consider this is project. - Tonnuea cover, seat and flooring all there, but in used condition. (some tears and well worn) Extra Parts: I have a tub of extra nuts and bolts, you get these, the original oil-pan also. Riding: I've nver registered it, but i have ridden it locally. Runs well. At first it's strange to have Manual advance, but it grows on you and you learn to stay in tune with the engine. It's pretty natural after a while. Let me tell ya- start it with the timing retarded or your in for a bad surprise! It kicks like mule! I've done my best to represent this cycle as truthfully as possible. Please email with any questions. Feel free to contact me for an opportunity to hear it run or see it for yourself. The bike needs more work- especially on the wiring and the brakes. Consider this a project. Your not going to jump on and ride. I just don't have time with the new job to spend more time with this and i need the space. PICK up only from Derby, Kansas. 67037. I'll store it for up to a month after payment. Deposit required within 72 hrs of winning. PAYPAL, Check, Cash accepted. Checks have to clear before cycle is released. Good Luck! Other than needing some labor, you're getting a cycle with all new bearings and many replaced parts- My loss is your gain
