1972 Yamaha DT250 DT 250
Vehicle Description
1972 Yamaha DT 250 starts with 1 kick and runs great. That being said, I have been saving this bike and collecting parts to do a total restoration for years. I have finally had to admit that I will never get to it so I'm hoping someone else will. I think it would be a worthwhile and fun project. Here's what I know. Like I said, it runs great. The tack and speedo both work. Brakes work. Oil injection system works. Stator puts out 12v. I took off the lights and wire harness, but they all worked at the time. I found a brake switch, correct tail light, and rear springs on ebay which are included. As far as I know everything is there except the turn signals and battery. The tank has a dent in the left side. I have another tank with no dents that I will sell in a different auction. If you win this bid and want the tank we can talk price before I list it.
