1971 Yamaha R5B 350 Vehicle Description 1971 Yamaha R5B 350 Vehicle Description 1971 Yamaha R5B 350 Vehicle Description This is a relisting with a reduced reserve from the original auction last week; sorry if you bid earlier this week. If you are a vintage two stroke fan, this is the bike for you; bikes that started with one kick, were simple to maintain, and the most excitement for the engine size. For sale is a 1971 original, unrestrored 350 cc Yamaha R5B. Little items such as the rubber stop on the side stand and the battery strap remain. The only non original items are the tires that were replaced by the previous owner. Note the inside of the gas tank is in excellant condition and hasn't been creamed. The bike has been through a major service inluding having the carbruators removed and cleaned, tune-up, and the crank case oil changed. At 35+ years of age, the paint and chrome are very good. The one item note is a couple of minor dents on the front of the front fender. The seat is in excellant condition and has the original strap. All electrics work, and I recently replaced the head light as they get cloudy in their old age; a $40+ item. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate the bike as a 9+. The bike is sold as is with no warranty. If the successful bidder is overseas, they are responsible for a required paper work. A depost of $500 through Paypal is required within 48 hours of my invoice. The remaining amout can through Paypal, cash, or cashiers check. The successful bidder is responsible for pick-up and/or shipping. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your interest.
