1999 yamaha roadstar silverado 1603cc
Vehicle Description
Up for sale is one of the nicest bikes you'll see. It has over $3000 in extra chrome and upgrades and is in great shape- it needs
nothing. I cannot list all the upgrades, as I am not familiar with them all (some are: Vance Hines Exhaust, Kuryan grips, chromed front end
2" lower kit, windscreen, full dress bags) but hope that the pictures do the talking. It is Yamaha's response to the HD RoadKing.
I can also provide additional pics. I am the 2nd
owner, but only technically, as I'm sure I havent ridden it much more than 500 - 600 miles. I bought it from the original owner in 2005
when I was "self-medicating" and buying toys after my divorce. I saw this bike outside JDS Cycle in Roselle Park, NJ when I was
picking up my other motorcycle from it's annual service. I approached the Road Star's owner ( His name is Jet) and asked if he would
sell it, at which point he said it was not for sale. I continued to politely hound him until he finally agreed to take my # and think about
it. 3 days later he called me and said he would need $8000. I was sure this was probably more than I should pay , but I wanted it
none the less. Fast forward to the present- the bike has been started regularly in my garage but barely ridden. As nice as this bike
is, it scared me almost from the start as it is so large and powerful. I am 5'10" and 210 and feel it is too much for me. I currently ride
an 800cc bike. Please feel free to ask questions and call for an appointment to see the bike. The pics do not do justice, and she
does need a bath and polish. I am including a brand new battery in the sale. Thanks,
George (908)432-2641
