Vehicle Description
1976 Yamaha TT 500 flattracker, runs great! I am selling it for a friend. New Dunlop tires, carb velocity stack, XT head, spool/speedway front hub. Frame is original TT frame, forks raised in triple clamps to lower front end. Engine number is 583-000792. Needs very little to be a vintage racer. The countershaft seal leaks (easy fix), smokes a little on start-up. Chain and sprockets are good, tires great – POWERFUL!
Bike is located west of Republic, Missouri.
Mileage is unknown, as there is no odometer on the bike.

Got the bike over to my house, picked up the countershaft sprocket and shift shaft seals. Will put them in soonest.
However, I did find another leak at the very bottom of the engine. There’s a small cover that is leaking. I hope to get a gasket for it and install it prior to sale. Also, it needs fork seals and fluid. I MAY have that fixed by sale time.
