2006 YAMAHA VMAX MOTORCYCLE! MINT! 1565 MILES!
Vehicle Description
Up for your consideration is my personal and very babied 2006 Yamaha Vmax motorcycle. I will be frank. If you want an absolutely like new Max look no further! You have found your new bike. There is zero wrong with it mechanically or cosmetically. Bike has 1560 miles of adult ridden use. NEVER abused! No burnouts or drag races folks! Bike has always been garaged and has never been ridden on anything but dry roads. Has NEVER seen rain! Has been wet for one washing and was blown dry with a leaf blower and detailed and it’s been pulled out of the garage in the state you see for the pictures. In other words, this is it’s everyday clean! Still has tire nubbies as shown. One oil change with new filter and Yamalube OEM oil. Stored with fuel stabilizer every year as well. The only mods are a new AGM battery and a battery tender which will of course go with the bike. The reason I replaced the battery is if you are going to go through taking the bike down to get to the battery, which is tough in Vmaxes by the way, you might as well put the best battery money can buy in as well which are the AGM batteries. If you keep the tender plugged in after each ride you shouldn’t have to touch the battery for about 7 to 10 years! Well worth the effort! The polished stainless flame radiator and scoop cutouts are also add ons as well as the small inconspicous windshield. ALL stainless and go well with the flamed tank.
Now the 10 million dollar question EVERYONE asks! Why am I selling it after 1560 miles? EASY! There comes a time in one’s life when they realize they aren’t 18 any more. I am there. I am the breadwinner for a family of 4 and if I were to get hurt on this bike my family suffers. I wanted this bike when I was 19 and it took 23 years to get it. Now I worry every time I ride it so I am letting it go to a new home! It’s like all other Vmaxes! PURE EVIL! It’s heavy and an absolute monster for power and torque. I have been on bikes my entire life and this bike has NO substitute for muscle! Plain and simple folks! It’s a beast!
I have studied the average price on Ebay for these and I am starting at a price that most bikes with 5 to 10 thousand miles go for so I believe it to be fair. I also do not intend to give it away as it’s a clear title and eating nothing as of right now. HOWEVER, if you place that first bid, it’s going to be sold! NO RESERVE!
There will be NO test rides when you get here. I guarantee the bike leaves here in perfect condition through and through. The reason for no test rides is insurance related and that’s all.
If you come to drive it home be prepared! I am taking off the plate which is current in Illinois but I would STRONGLY suggest trailering it to your place as Illinois DOES NOT have a grace period as you may have heard! No plate and they will tag you and make you tow it.
I would like CASH or CERIFIED funds. Certified bank cashier’s check with a number and person I can call at the issuing institution for verification, so do your homework BEFORE you come and get it.
Local pick up and I will NOT ship. Please don’t ask! If you make the trip it will be well worth your effort when you lay your eyes on it. You WON’T be disappointed.
